    Website photo/video legalities

On your own website is it illegal to have any pictures/video just plucked from the internet?

I have seen websites with pictures taken from other sites so even if this is illegal is it easy to get away with? (does anyone actually police it?)

    Thanks

Very good question idk if it is illegal but I think you have to have permission from the author/artist and the website

If its copyrighted, then you need to seek permission from the owners or leave credits at the end of each photos/clips.

No. Under most circumstances you need an individual's permission before you use their work. Good luck.
