Website Fixing - Business Idea

Hi all,

I'm thinking about starting a business providing website code fixes.

In owning a Photoshop -> HTML conversion company, I've had a lot of clients that just needed code adjustments on their sites. Usually simple tasks like imbedding PHP contact forms in a page or providing consulting for a specific need from their Content Management System.

What do you think of a service like that?

the problem is unquantified
the solution hasn't been described..so, hard to say
it would be different if:

1) for example, you launch a spider that goes through a list of sites to rank them in terms of load times, errors, spelling mistakes etc.
that way you can then send a personalised brochure to say "hi, your site sucks because it ranks badly on parameters x,y,z"
2) then, you offer an elegant solution that efficiently eliminates the client's problem..for example, this could be in the form of a migration to a new kind of CMS with extra features..and you can price the cms in the way that the client pays nothing for the set up...and only pays a couple of cents per pageview on their new site
so.."a pay for performance CMS"

...yea..so that would be a quantifiable problem and an elegant solution

think along those lines
