Hey everyone,

I just finished putting together a website for my IT Consulting company. I was hoping that you guys could give me some feedback on what you think of it (colour scheme, layout, etcetera). Any suggestions are very appreciated.

It seems a little "blah" for me, especially considering you are in IT. I would avoid your services based on this point alone. Add some pics, some color, some life.

I dig the general layout, colors, and menu. It's simple which is good. A couple things...

The white (dotted) area outside of the white general content area makes it a little too boring. You might think about making this a dark color, perhaps with some fade or wind effects. Also, I think the "indent" or frame split is a little too central. Push it slightly to the left, giving more room for the content and less for the menu. This will also move the "Website Home" link above to a location that doesn't look out of place (as it does now).

And definitely get a new logo. I'm just trying to provide some helpful criticism here, but it looks pretty unprofessional, as though it was done in a matter of minutes. It looks like the letters were just sporatically sprayed blue, the X is too big, I'm not sure what's going on with the gray area to the right, and the black background looks like a poorly pixelated LCD tv. I have a hard time believing "competitors can't match us" when it's right below that logo. Not to kill your ego, but this is clearly your biggest issue.

I would also add some room below for your footer. It looks like it's hiding...

The content on the site is good, but doesnt seem to look corporate at all, really looks like a personal blog.

I suggest looking at some of your competitors sites, and seeing how you compete.. you want to appear better than they do on first impressions.

Remember, you can never change a first impression!
