Its certainely going to change, I think, the way users/customers either order, or interact with the stores or brands they're accustomed too. I think online communications will be taken to the next level.

Most of how businesses are marketing themselves online will change. For example, traditional ways of search engine optimization (link building and content optimization) will become less relevant.

Content must possess a higher quality. Rather than just being useful and able to shove tons of information into a visitor's face, they should be personalized and made relevant to the visitor's needs. For example, when someone in New York City searches for restaurants, restaurant reviews and listings containing information about restaurants in other states won't come up.

For business owners and entrepreneurs, this means that they have t make their landing page relevant to their target audience, incorporating not only information, but also ways of presentation, relevant data pertaining to their visitors.

Thats already being done now. I can easily choose the state in the website I'm in, and done, none of the other states are presented...
if you mean going inside a website without clicking the state, it's also doable now... detect the IP and present the info according to that...

i pesonally think web 3.0 isn't the web as we see it today. i think it will actually be web me 3.0. the next step is the seemless transition between whatever device you happen to have in front of you to your "online life". cell phones are heading in this direction but not there just yet. why does an email have to be different to a user than a sms message, or an IM. currently wether i am using a laptop/desktop machine or a mobile phone there are different applications to access each. why if i order something from newegg or amazon do i have to go to each website to check the status, when i look at the history in my web browser why doesn't my cell phone reflect that, would make it easier to show my friends the video i found last night. snail mail is a great example of things coming together in a single location/interface. no matter if it is my IRS refund (i get one this year YEAH!), spam (junk mail), bills, or items i ordered online when i got to my mailbox and open it up "my life" is there compiled from multiple sources and easy to look though using 1 tool (the mailbox) and like wise i can respond to those sources easily though the same tool (mailbox with flag up). My house address is a single way to identify me to all sources of all types of messages, why shouldn't i have an "address" online.
Web 1.0 was about making it work, web 2.0 was about making it pretty and feature rich, web 3.0 should be about me and making it easy no matter the device in my hand at the moment. and as stated above the geo-tagging of search results or even ads is a piece of that we see today. i don't get junk mail in my mailbox for businesses in other cities.
so in my opinion web 3.0 should be web ME, make it custom, make it personal, make it easy and make it relevant(show me ads during the summer about vacations, shorts, tee shirts, in the winter show me deals on jackets).

I want to get in on the whole new "interactivity" trend that's been going on lately. Implementing it will be hard to do.
