    Ways to concentrate on work?

argggg, it's summer now, warm and nice outside, sunny and the grass turned green, good huh? No!!!! I can't seems to concentrate on my work anymore :S
Especially right now there's no school anymore for me, not enough pressure

I also get so easily distracted by so many things, such as the world cup arrg, finals tomorrow!
Finally there's so many tasks that i don't like to do
Any advice to help me to stay focused on my business?
    Thanks

Yeah I feel ya on not wanting to work and to just be lazy and enjoy summer. What I do is keep a task list of everything that needs to be done and the night before I assign which tasks I will complete the next day. So far it has motivated me and worked.

Just do what you've been doing and when you end up in a lousy position in life due to your lack of diligence, you may be able to focus and do a little better the second time around.

I do this too, form a to-do list before i start doing anything. This usually keeps me on track, as then you have something to work for

You can create an hour-by-hour schedule so that you have to stay on course to get through the day. Of course, you still need some free time as well.

lol haven't check back for a while, thanks for all the replies um, yeah, I did set goals, and made todo lists, but sometimes I can't seems to achieve it and then the next day, same thing, just too many stuff, it really adds up at the end, where you just got a mountain pile of stuff screaming at you to do them lol strict schedules don't work with me either, I've tried it before.

about the biz on road idea, I was thinking of doing that perhaps, bring my laptop, shoot a wireless connection into a park near me and work there. It will keep me away from distractions like TV, my beloved guitar, and a dirty pile of laundry
and yeah, gotta change my haibit of wearing pajamas everyday to do my work, it really seems to make me lazy
    Thanks everyone

Yeah I wouldn't recommend wearing pajamas! Doesn't set the right state of mind. Might even want to wear dressy clothes until you get the idea that you have to be working.

Try and do a task list/set goals but don't be too detailed, just enough to know what you need to get done without a brief description, as long as you won't forget it. If the list looks shorter you'll be more likely to start on it.

I have a bad habit of playing video games like...ALL the time. So what I did was uninstalled every game on my computers and I stashed away my console controls/games so it would be a pain to get them out again. This really helped as I found I only played when they were right there and available. If you have a problem with say, watching too much tv or playing guitar all day long, you might want to hide the remote and let your friend borrow your guitar for awhile.

Also I've been trying this, it was just something I thought up one day. When you wake up, pick ONE thing that you want to get done and tell yourself YOU'RE GOING TO DO THAT ONE THING over the course of the day. I think this is helping me build my willpower and eventually I'll be able to say more and more things and just say "I'm going to do this today," and it'll be done.
