Wanting to start my own clothing line

I have my niche market I want to target. I have a unique name and I'm working on a logo to use now. Basically I want buy shirts and screenprint phrases with my brand name and logo on them. I plan to start small selling and marketing off of my Facebook, and hopefully grow to have a dedicated website. Does this sound feasible to start up on a budget? What steps should I take?

Sounds like an interesting project. I love the frugality behind your planning which is so crucial to any entrepreneurs journey to success. Never lose that! As for your business, I would suggest you keep in mind the power of social networking sites. Get on them NOW and promote your Biz. Share with like minded people who care and always validate your Biz with successul/happy clients. They will speak volumes. I am looking for creative talented artist. I started a t-shirt brand that represents innovators. each artist will have their own signature line if we approve it. every line must have a story behind it. take a look if interested or we could print your own. We have all the equipment.

Yes it is definitely something you can start with a small budget. The only challenge you will face is how to differentiate yourself from the competition and also how do you convince people to buy from you.

    Suggestion for Trinity

I'm also looking to start my own clothing line. but I feel stuck. My niche is young petite women who are looking for affordable business suits. Since I don't have the funds to start-up, I started a website and will also be promoting through social media. I'm also working on a logo What I found that seems to work really well in terms of rankings is if you started a blog and did a blog outreach. I'm trying to understand the operations behind starting a clothing line (suppliers, manufacturing, the whole process), but whenever I look further into the information (for example, price) I need to have a valid business, which I do not have. How do I get an idea of how much everything costs?

Just stumbled onto this forum and I noticed alot of people are interested in creating a clothing line. My family owns a jean factory in China, so if you have any questions prior to manufacturering, or any inquiries for jeans please feel free to email me or pm.
