I have tried many ventures with a friend of mine including blogs and social n/ws but people just dont seem to come to these sites in bulk considering the competition that already exists on the net and revenue from ads is minimal/non-existant.
However, the 2 of us have yet again started out on a new venture, this time to establish a brand that leaves behind competition. We then expect to leverage that brand name to start a whole bunch of new websites that can help us start a profitable business.
Our plan is to start a website for technical reviews of newly released gadgets, software, programming concepts and open source programs developed by us. network security, etc. Basically we need to have lots of good authors on the site who can write original articles after researching a topic. We can even interview insiders as an associate of the online magazine (we will call the site techozine.com) to quote them in our reviews. Dont you think that this is exciting?
We need some prople who share the same level of commitment we do. But finally we cannot pay you at the moment unless we get popular and start earning big revenues from ads. But we will grant recognition to all authors on the site and we will give moderator/admin/editor privileges and a nice designation that will be shown on a website page in case you show genuine interest and contribute regularly. The experience could be invaluable if you plan on becoming a professional reviewer or even support our venture and establish it as a business in future.
