Want to start a cell phone business!

I want to start a cell phone business selling things such as actual high end phones, accessories, and unlocking codes for all carriers. I am going to pay to get the site done, and then likely do drop shipping for most of the products and stock a few popular items like the iphone. I am hoping to get the website, and marketing done for under $1000, and then have a working site with traffic by then.

A few questions, does anyone know a good and cheap drop shipper for these kinds of things? Also, how about the unlock codes, where can I get them for cheap? Would this be something that I can begin to make 2k a month with an hour or two a day, and some decent marketing? Any other advice, from people who have done something like this, or just know about it?

    Thanks.

Also, around how much would it cost to get a decent site professionally made with many products?

What kind of cell phone business exactly? Sell plans or just strictly sell cell phones?

You will not make a couple thousand a month working an hour or two a day end of story..

It takes a huge amount of work to promote a website. You could use PPC advertising but you need to have your conversion rates nailed. Good luck.

It seems highly unlikely that you will make 2k a month by putting in an hour a day into a starter business with such high competition. My advice, don't go straight to selling phones...find a niche which has less competition, perhaps do something through ebay - could still be phone related, just more specific!

I know there are affiliate programs for selling cell phone plans along with phones from those carriers.

Accessories, you'll probably be better off buying in bulk rather than dropshipping. You want to maximize your profits right?

For unlock codes, you need the software. Honestly, I've looked into doing this, but the software is just not easy to find. I think that the people/companies that offer this hack the operating systems within the phones themselves, find the algorithm, and write their own programs that provide unlock codes. That's just my theory, though. Good luck.

It depends of what you want and how you want it...You can design your site and program it to any cart you want or just get a template and work with it... since you never done it before I really recommended you to start with a template...find a dropshipper and code suppliers and startin makin some money out of it... After a year or two you can design your own Store and program it with a specific type of patform...

You will gain experiences by doing this and will understand how the cellphone market work...

If you have any other question related to online mobile store or code unlocking you can always PM me. I am in the market for about 5 years now

    Peace
