Want to share your story with the world?

I have been working on my book for some time now, and am ready to enter the next stage of writing. I am looking to include the 'life stories' of entrepreneurs, small business owners, "Work at Home Moms", and others that have seen the effects of ambition on their lives. I want to hear the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. How has your ambition affected your life? How has it affected your family, and those around you?

Ambition is one of the few qualities of human nature that, when taken to extremes, can drastically affect a person, people, even the world. Success, Popularity, and Infamy- all consequences of ambition. All around us, we see those that exhibit ambition, and those that choose to sit on the sidelines, and survive rather than even attempting to thrive. As entrepreneurs, we tend to stay far away from the sidelines. We are usually the quarterback, running back, entire offensive line, and the punter- all at the same time. Our way of life (and yes, being an entrepreneur is a way of life) tends to affect those around us. We are often holed up in our home offices, away from our families for days, working on our latest 'creation'. Regardles of good or bad, let me hear your story, and take this opportunity to share it with the rest of the world.

The project as it stands is starting out as a book, and down the road will become a case study, a guide for teens, and also integrated into a curriculum. Your contribution will help many people realize that putting forth a little effort and allowing their ambitions and aspirations to take grow can lead to success, happiness, and a feeling of fulfillment with the things they do.

Well, as far as payment, all selected contributors will receive a certain percentage of the royalties drawn from the book's first print. In addition, they will have the option of having a 1/2 page section reserved for contact information, the websites for projects they're working on, etc. Pretty much, you'll have your story of ambition released in print, your contact information and a short ad following your story, and royalty cash for your contribution.

The book is Stage One of a much larger project. Although I can't discuss specifics, a Case Study and Teen/Young Adult version are in the works, as well as the possibility of the text being included in a number of curriculums.

    Route I would take

If I was in your position, I would look at the local economy and society near you. There are successful businesses all around. In the composition of "successful people" you'll simply need to send them a letter of "inquiry" detailing what you'd like to do- "hear and tell their story"- and follow-up the mailings with brief phone calls. If it's a regular (Hardcopy) book you might get some takers, if it is an eBook than I would offer them a free hardcopy edition of the eBook for their own.

Anyway, if you are not a writer, there are many that do copywriting and editing that you can find online.

    Have fun-Brian

I have written 7 books this year. 4 eBooks on Network Marketing, 2 on Relationships and Manifesting, and my life story. The only one that I am thinking of getting published in hardcopy might be my life story, so that it might help others. Yours-Brian

    Brian,

I am already in the process of talking to some businesses in the area, as well as a few influential people that I know around the U.S. and in other parts of the world. I would also like to include entrepreneurs, which is why I'm posting on a few different forums. I'd like people to contribute to the blog, which in turn would help get more people involved in the endeavour, further helping in getting the word out about the book and other projects tied into this one.
