Want to know your opinion about my business idea.

I decided to start business with luminophore. It is powder that glows in the dark. It is safe. It can be used in different spheres such as auto-tuning, architectural design, information systems, fabric, cosmetics and even flowers. What do you think about it?

How do you plan to make money? Will you be the distributor to auto shops, flower shops, etc, or will you do the work? How does this stuff make my life as a consumer easier? If you dont mind to answer some of those questions I think we may be able to help you a little bit more.

You have a product, not a business. There is a significant difference. It sounds like an interesting product though.

At first I plan to paint car wheels myself, I think that's a profitable business, and a new one, what is very important. The main thing is that it's a new and interesting product. I hope that car-tuning enthusiasts highly value the idea of creating luminescent rims. It can be used in aerography on the car body, I can paint not only wheel rims, but also hub-caps, license plate and bumper guard. Besides there is no business competition.

I have a product, not a business I agree with you, but this product can help me to start a good business.

The main advantage of luminophore is that it is a fine-grained non-flammable powder, and does not contain any radioactive isotopes. It is completely safe.

As stated, the product sounds interesting. My 13 year old daughter recently asked me, "what do I need to start a business". She was concerned with the legal issues, the marketing, the products, and all the details. My answer to her was, "customers". Without a customer, you have not business, only an idea. I suggest doing some market research to find applications for your product, which it seems you have done a bit of. Then you need to develop a plan that outlines costs, marketing, etc. Good luck.

See, you dont even have a product because its not yours. You need to find a new way to use it. I do not recommend wheels. I believe that it could be a market but you will not find the right market in a profitable price point. Either make it cheap and very little profit so all sorts of rice-rocket owners get it done for $100 or make it $500 where very few people find the value or go up to $2000 and aim at doing 3 vehicles a year when in full swing.
I would say try doing some sort of bar clothing, since there is a ton of mark up on clothing. Or find a way to package it in a airisol can and sell it to walmart for $.50/can profit.

This is neat. But, I totally agree with ZingerIntl. You don't have a product until you find a new way to use it. I would consider looking into utilizing it for safety purposes like for high visibility for motorcyclists or something wild for clubs and raves? Maybe Tattoo ink? Something completly different than what luminophore is feeding you.

    Hi,

Nice idea i must say but when you have such idea, you have to be the first one to capitalize. As soon as it would hit the market, others would bring its replica. I would suggest you to think where else can it be used and get it done yourself.

Like in music industry, people are releasing the remix of their own song themselves before someone else could.

    All the best !

    Regards
    Ben Thomas

I'm sure that I'll found a lot of customers, cuz luminophore is not only an interesting product but also it can be used in different spheres. I can try one sphere at first, and if it doesn't work - then I will be able to change it for more profitable one. So I think there won't be problems here.

Yes, the product is not mine yet, but I know where to buy it. It is a new technology for architectural design (luminescence for external and internal night club, bar and cafe veneer, as well as residential interiors). The usage of luminophore’s properties in interior design is a very interesting option, as the results are only limited by your imagination. Many surfaces can be lent this luminescent effect: metal, wood, brick, concrete sand, cement, façade tiles, gypsum board, polystyrene and others. Artificial and natural decorative stones also look very impressive.

I'm sure I'll hit the market with luminophore, I'll try to do it! Thank you))) There other sphere where I can use it is making patterns and paintings on the walls and ceilings of the interior, as well as detailing furniture (chairs, tables and bars) is also possible. In addition, you can create a “starry sky” on your bedroom ceiling, luminescent patterns on the baseboard and doorframe floor molding and cues on electric switches, etc. Luminophore can be used in information systems as well (“highlighting” indicators, the exterior of advertising vehicles, information signs, and building exteriors. This option also allows you to save on energy consumption).
