I really like movable type. I use it for my site and although it has a bit of a learning curve, it has so many useful features and really is more than a blog, it's an entire content management system. My recommendation is movable type but good luck with what ever you decide to use!

Actually I use Blogger.com which is totally free and owned by Google. The reason is that Google indexes their own blog posts as soon as one hour! I use a double wahmo that I discovered that has worked like a charm. I blog through Blogger and then I put up a Squidoo lense on the same subject.

For instance I'm ranked Number 1 on Google for "selling unsold homes" and Number 2 for "marketing unsold homes." There I teach people how to market their home using Web 2 and also promote my new e-book I will be selling along with DVDs.

See if that can work for you too!

    Wordpress by far....
If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.

I started with Blogger then moved over to WordPress. Wordpress as far as I know has the largest support base with various themes, widgets, etc. It's also VERY easy to use. You can use the hosted version or install a local version on your site. Either way it's a win win.
