Wanna build sweat equity in non existing company???

Haha..yea, seriously. I'm totally ready to get ripped on all the reasons this won't work..yada, yada, yada....BUT, I've got to start somewhere, because this idea will kill me if I don't do something with it. I'm not trying to start up a magazine, or an airline (that post was pretty good), but this is almost as bad because I only have an idea...and thats it.
I have a great idea for a website...there is only 1 other site on the internet like it, but has no exposure, and isn't easy to navigate. It is also on something that is about to break lose, so I know if I don't jump on this quickly the same type of website is going to be poping up all over the place in no time.
On the negative...I have no web experience, and I cannot afford to pay someone to build a site. So, what I need it someone who has tons of web design experience looking to build sweat equity, for like a 50/50 in the company. My idea, for your time. I know its a long shot, and most anyone out there with design experience is going to take the paying web design job over the one for a peice of a company that doesn't exist yet. I know it sounds crazy...but I just had to put it out there. If your not ready to write a full page on how insane this post is, and have experience with web design, send over a pm.

It's not 100% crazy.. people put these types of deals together every so often. You will how ever have to share your idea with people to get them interested in the project. Be prepared to do that. You should also have a solid marketing plan. The best idea + the best web site still = nothing if you have no marketing.

I'm not a web designer at all... check out my site in my signature below to see what I do... if the idea is something I'm into, I'd be down to help you in any capacity I can: bplanning, forecasting, strategy, etc. All for sweat equity, of course
