Walt Disney was truly an incredible man with a very clear vision of what he wanted to create within his lifetime. And who knows if that vision ever came to completion! But the fact is, I'm sure he never stopped inventing new ideas in his mind. And he never gave up hope, that's for sure! I never knew he went bankrupt three times! It just shows what can be achieved when an iron fist of ambition tied with a creative mind desires to bring into reality a truly genuine vision. What an inspiration.

Disney could reach long-run success mainly through the creation of value due to diversification and the management and fostering of creativity, brand image and synergies between businesses.

I think the only A I ever recieved in high school was on a project to write about the person we admired most. It was Walt Disney. I think the essay was under 1,000 words but I felt like I could have written a milion. Every time I get discouraged I think of Walt Disney. he believed in his dream, he believed in himself and he made it happen. Steve

He Was Creative: “I first saw the site for Disneyland back in 1953,” said Disney. “In those days it was all flat land – no rivers, no mountains, no castles or rocket ships – just orange groves, and a few acres of walnut trees." Where others saw a blank canvass, Disney saw a work of art. He noticed opportunities where others had not even been looking. It was his creativity and his fertile imagination that enabled him to sustain a decades-long successful career.

He Seized Control: After an early learning experience, Disney quickly came to understand the importance of having creative control and legal ownership of his work. Once he had become his own boss, Disney prided himself on his management skills, maintaining a hands-on approach while still giving his employers a degree of independence. By taking control of his own business, Disney steered himself to success.

He Was Selective: “You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you,” said Disney. Despite his success, Disney was not without his failures. He, too, had to learn the difference between passion and blind faith. While passion was a crucial ingredient to his success, Disney grew to understand that passion and business savvy did not always go hand in hand and that success required sacrifice.

Disney died on December 15, 1966 but his legacy carries on to this day. As a producer, director and animator, Disney created one of the world’s most recognized and cherished brands. To other budding entrepreneurs, he says this: “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.”

i agree about it...but sometimes its hard to get our dream

When I was a kid, I used to think that these cartoons are living and real ones , may be they live on other country very far away from here. It is a great thing by Disney that he made it possible to make the cartoons a family member of every kid in the world.

the only thing that sepperateshim from us is the drive to do it, we all have idea's but the only people you see out there are the ones that go through with it. in falure you still have the journey.

Truly a great Role Model for those who are at ground but want to reach the sky by their ideas that may change the history , the living style of people.
