hello, anyone know how much import duties, tax, vat are levied by local custom if my products fingerprint locks are imported into EU, America, Canada... thank you for your kind suggestion!

I forgot but I believe it would be in USA no more then 6% depending on the product but what does it matter since your a exporter, the importers will be paying customs tax not the exporter.

Also if you ship one item at a time by UPS, Fedex or DHL to USA then for most cases there are no taxes to be paid.

Firstly you can't generalise across Europe there are no standard taxes, VAT alone varies by about 10% between countries.

So it is very complex question to answer for which you haven't provided enough information.

As we are investaging into the market all over the world, we need to know the details. As far as I know, customers need pay 4.6% duty and more or less VAT in EU.... and 7% tax in canada...is it right?

anyone who know more about it?

in UK customers pay 17.5% as VAT on every product. Correct me if I am wrong!

Ok please read my post above, DON'T generalise Europe there is no harmonised VAT system.

We cannot comment on any duty that may be due unless you give us a confired commodity code. Do you know what this is for fingerprint locks?
