    Views on my site.

Please can you tell me what you think of my website? This is the first time I have used asp.net version 2, and I would like to know what people think of the site. All posts would be greatly useful especially posts with criticism as I would to get this site up to scratch as soon as possible.

I hate it already if it doesn't support FireFox.

    Firefox

Firefox has known bugs with using tables in a aspx site, this is why i havn't allowed anything other than IE 6 and IE 7 to view the site. But thank you for your detailed comment.

    jay,

as a developer myself in the .net 2.0 framework I have to design my applications around firefox and ie alike. My preference is Firefox although as you have seen here .NET favors IE. Although as any good developer you have to be able make the site compatable with both. Just what ya gotta do in this world today. Netscape/Mozzilla based browsers and non IE browser simply demand too much of the market to simply ignore

    Firefox

I am having huge problems allowing people to use firefox to view my site. I have take the code out so know you can view the "site" using firefox, but all of the graphics are in the wrong place, the mouse over effects on the buttons do not work properly, the site isnt even centered in the page correctly. Please can you help me out.

I have tried adding <BrowerCaps> to the web.config file and this didnt seem to make any difference at all.

It's hard to say what I think of it - I have no clue what it's about. Unless you're still planning on a lot of work to the site, people had better know exactly what it is before they even GET to the site!

The graphics themselves are very nice and clean, but they're jumbled about too loosely. The structure needs to be tighter.

Picture links are nice... as long as there's text to go with them! When I come to a site that expects me to let the mouse sit over every single navigation picture for half a second to see what it is, I tend to just... leave. Without clicking on anything.

You should also have a preloader for the link images, so they change immediately when the mouse moves over them, instead of annoying me with an hourglass and delay before the images changes the first time.

All in all, there's really not enough there to comment on.

And of course, as everyone else mentioned - it really needs to support all the browsers. On my own site, lately, I've been very surprised in my logs at how many visitors are not using IE! It's a royal pain, yes... unfortunately necessary.

I just looked at your live site - and I still don't really know what it's for! You need to really rework your copy. After reading it once or twice, I still can't make out what exactly your services are. It's very vague and wordy. Be clear and concise! At the moment it seems to have minimal content with as many big buzzy business words stuffed in as is grammatically possible.

This website is like a clothes store where only people with brown eyes are allowed... And don't tell me i should get deeper into detail, i don't like being mean to people.
