Great idea. Whether it will be the future I do not know, but right now, it is a fantastic idea I have seen similar on the news from time to time, with the job market being so tough standing out from the crowd is more important than ever. Go for it. Make sure you do your research though on other websites just to see if they are all doing it as well.

i was thinking of adding a social media aspect to it so jobseekers can network with each other aswell

its a fantastic idea, coming from the recruitment industry myself, especially recruiting sales people, its highly important to differentiate yourself from others. Videos as resumes are starting to progress more and more into my inbox, and its a great and innovative way to show the extra mile you would go to get the right role..
