    Red face Video Mailings?????

Has anyone used video mailings as a way to promote an online business?
If so how did it work for you. I know it's a liitle bit more money but if the conversion rate is high I think maybe worth it. I was going to use it to launch my new dining guide that relys on local participation as well as online participation

Appreciate any help on this matter!!

It hasnt become that popular yet but it is out there. www.helloworld.com offers the best features and for a reasonable price. I was thinking of creating one of these websites till i found out the price tag.

Another one that comes to mind if you want to present information to customers is Springdoo.com. It has a nice set up and you can email videos that you create or place them on your website as an on going video blog of sorts...

The price tag of making a website like helloworld.com is around 100k because you have to hire a programmer. If you want to use there service its 10 dollars a month.

Speaking of video mailings, do a lot of email services (like gmail) have video viewing capabilities within email messages?

I actually know for a fact that the idea of video mailing has been around for a while. One time, I ran into a website that was recruiting people. I couldn't get involve with it because I was too young. I think it's a great and very unique idea. However, if you're going to use it...make sure that it's fast when it comes to uploading the motion pictures. If I'm a reader and sees that the video takes 5 minutes to upload, I'm just going to delete it.

It's working out great, Gaulkin. Although it's still working it's way through mainstream usage. We're poised to ride the wave when people are fully comfortable with videos.

Monetarily, we just had a meeting with a Hollywood producer yesterday and he thinks it might have a good use in advertising as an added value service for his clients. We'll see.

Overall, we're still in infancy stage of our venture (8months). We've got lots to do.

    Hi Nylivinglarge,

My business isn't an MLM like the others. If you are still interested-I could need a rep out there in NY. PM if interested.

Our system plays right away. No uploads needed. It's streaming video. Record on the spot and play on the spot.
