Vendingmachines - How to aquire locations

    Hi everybody

So after a few phone calls to coca cola I've been offered a deal that means that I can rent vending machines @ $55/Machine per machine. They'll take care of maintenance and will deliver the drinks for free as long as the order is more than 240 cans, the machines take 380 cans btw.

I want to place them at the local uni, the local hospital and a few other places that I've found. Now the question is. How do I sell this idea to the owners of these locations? Do you have any experience in this area? Should I offer them a part of the revenue like x% of the sales or is that redundant?

How would you go about it?

Please I will like to keep in touch with your progress in this idea. If you will be kind enough to grant me a post on:
    How you started
    How you got funding
    Any difficulties experienced
    Any advice
    And what are your projections.

If interested you may contact me via mcmartin0 at yahoo.com

Ps: This information is for a blog of mine aimed at teaching skills to young entrepreneurs .

I would believe that the only way they would let you leave a vending machine on their property is if they were making money on it...which means a percentage of a sales.

In my mind you are offering the companies customers a service. Try to pitch it as that. I will take care of the machine, maintenance, stocking etc and your customers will have cold sodas available while they are waiting for whatever. This may get you the location for free.

Some of the companies may require a % of sales. if so then keep it low. you are doing all of the work they are simply providing a location.

    best of luck,

    jake
