Vending Machine In Schools

Im wondering whether schools will allow my vending machine. Where do they usually get their vending machines? I would be placing some in elementary schools (because there aren't any) and high schools (at competitive prices.)

You may be able to, but to be honest, in some cases near where I live (South Florida), there are much larger vending companies such as Gold Coast Vending and hey have machines EVERYWHERE!!

I'm not sure of canada's policies in schools, but I know that in my state, maryland, vending machines are only allowed in highschools.

Elementary schools aren't allowed them, but that's only because our district blames vending machines for making kids fat. Lol. Vending machines have been around for almost 100 years now. Kids 20 years ago weren't obese at these rates. I don't blame it on the vending machines!

By the way, I just got started using this new dropshipping software, that may help you get competitive rates on your sodas, and maybe even your machines. It's a company that specializes in finding wholesalers. So far, they've been great to me.

If you can come up with vending machines that sell just healthy food or drink you might be able to get all the other ones in a school kicked out.

True Newton. Great Idea!

If you get the chance, research healthy food alternatives, that kids actually like. I'm sure there are a few out there, and I bet school officials would love the idea of something good for the kids. Not to mention, that could be an incredible nitch market. I have yet to see any schools in my area with healthy vending foods. Grand IDEA Newton! Bravo!

There are schools that already stopped selling foods through vending machine.

One reason is that foods offered by vending machines are usually junk and unhealthy foods like sodas, chips, etc.

I think it's better if you can come up with a vending machine that sells healthy food choices. For example, instead of sodas how bout try selling milk drinks that are rich in calcium, etc.

I work for the Simcoe County District School Board and I know that they're promoting healthy choices not only in vending machines but throughout the food services in our schools.

If you're interested, I might be able to find you some contacts within the Simcoe County board.

Lol, I miss the days when I could buy a candy bar in the snack machine. Look what happens when all of the little kids buy so much they get huge! Us adults can't buy our snacks anymore!
