Valentines Day Roses Buz

Hi all,

I'm trying to think of a way to make a few bucks come this February on Valentines day.

I'll be up at college and was thinking of marketing to sororities / fraternities 2-3 weeks before Feb 14th and take orders for roses. And then buy in bulk from a wholesaler and deliver the pre orders.

I like the idea of pre-ordering b.c it allows me to eliminate excess inventory, however I'm wondering if I could also buy some excess and have some people sell bundles at campus hot-spots.

Trying to see what my margins would be if its worth doing. Not trying to make a fortune, just a couple of bucks.

Input would be appreciated.

I actually did this exact thing the two previous years at my school. What I did was located a wholesaler and made my order. I did not do a pre-order like you had suggested. I marketed to the whole university. But yes, you could definitely buy in excess and sell them in bundles. That is exactly how I did my business and it worked incredibly well. It is worth doing.
