    Up Early in the morning

I know most of you on here tend to be up early because time is a precious asset to us all and I'm just kinda of curious about what you all to do motivate yourself to get out of bed.

Sometimes, its difficult to get out of bed in the morning but you have to make sacrifices to be successful. So, what to you all do to get out of bed in the mornings after a late night of work?

It's hard for me to leave a project unfinished if I know how to complete it. Even if I don't know everything about it, take some of the coding I am learning about me website for instance, I am drivien to take the project as far as I can before I stop.

I developed this trait in the Army. It's the idea that the sooner I am done, the sooner I get to sleep.

    Cool passion brings motivation

we've all heard it before... "early bird catches the worm".

For me im a freelance project manager/software designer so I need to be prompt on my response just about 24/7. I have my speakers blaired at night so I will hear my email client notify me like an alarm clock, i will wake up...tend to business, and catch a few more ZZZ'z when I got the chance.

When your dealing with new leads, prospects or clients, theres always a good chance they are talking to more then 1 person. If your like me and you rely on yourself to drum up business, you need to motivate yourself to do extra-ordanary things to stand out.

If your just simply not a morning person try to find jobs that dont require you to work in the morning. I try to live my balanced life-style using the 8-8-8 system...8 hours of work, 8 hours of play, and 8 hours of sleep = 24 hours in your day. Its very balanced, and you wont feel drowsy even working weekends to pull off those 56 hours weeks.

Few things that helps me get up very early in the AM.

    1) Two kids I need to prepare breakfast and lunch for. Bus them to school.
    2) I'm already behind 3 hours with the East Coast Ohio and 2 hours Central Texas where my real estate business are located.
    3) All phone calls have to made early in the morning!

I guess when you have your priorities straight, it's easier to do your daily functions.

I have a great alarm that has been of immense help to me as I share a room with two regular hour office goers. I have researched the net and to my delight found a helpful site: www shakeawake com. You can choose from a range of alarm clocks that have the latest technology to suit your needs.

I'm up at 5.30 am every morning. I work at my full time job from 7.30am to 5.00pm. I get home at 6.00pm and spend some time with my partner and take on food and water. Then I do maintain my private business interests from about 9pm to 11pm, then I go to bed and the cycle starts all over again. However I believe in a 2 day weekend and a proper weekend at that. I don't do any work on a saturday or sunday unless I really have to. Hard Work + Proper Rest = Optimal Productivity.

What was the question again? How do i get out of bed? I don't really struggle in that area as my body is so used to it, but the slightest change in work patterns can let all hell loose. If for example I had to get up an hour earlier, it would take me a few weeks to adjust.

i have this problem also however once i know how to finish it the act of doing so then becomes mundane and less important to me.

I strugle with getting out of bed in the morning. the main reason i do is because i have to be in at work around 7am. the alarm clock doesn't really wake me up, the wife yelling at me to get up doesn't work all that well. However my puppy is a morning dog, and he wakes up at 6am and wants to play and usually gets me up.

I normally don't worry about waking up early knowing that everything i did or sent off later at night ( i think and work better between 9pm-1am) will take the people who read it in the morning several hours to comprehend it or respond to it.

Me in the morning is pretty much like office space, my brain isn't functioning that early and i spend the first hour or so just staring blankly at the monitor.
