    University student motivation/informative website ?

    A website which is made to help students when leaving uni or when still studying.
    For example, whats the next step after university ? where do you go to get a good job ? how do you start a website business ?
    or
    For the students still studying, where can you get university books the cheapest ? where can i do volunteering ? whats the best way to study ?

    I came up with this website because it can be very daunting during uni and also taking that last step after you graduate.

    I would like to have famous entrepreneurs do video interviews telling their own stories and experiences to motivate students that anything is possible. I have a lot more ideas like the " investment room " where you go and submit your ideas to investors and the best of the month gets investment for their business start up.

    I looking for more ideas to add to the website and would love suggestion.
    Looking forward to what you have to say.

    I got a degree in Graphic Design, a hell of a lot of questions went unanswered.
    A lot of information was missed out by lecturers that were teaching people how to get jobs in their era & not in the students modern day era.

    I contemplated being a teacher to share what knowledge i had accumulated to help students leap over that huge pitfall that me and class mates fell into all those years ago, But then i would be doing just the same as my lecturers.

    Getting modern day advice and tips from a constantly updated source would be so beneficial to younger people who are a bit lost.

    With the site;
    • How would you monetize the site? How would you turn this source into a money making business?
    •Would you use a content management system so different writers with different expertise could post? You couldn't do all by yourself and not lose momentum, you would burn out after 8months max - lose interest and fail.

    Sounds like a good site. You have a lot to work with there. As mentioned before, you have to decide how to monetize the site. Also what will your marketing campaign be, as this is only geared toward college students and recent graduates. Will you go from campus to campus promoting the site? Also is the site up and running or just an idea? If it's up and running paste the link here so we can look at it and give our input. Good luck!

    Hi sorry for such a delayed reply. I have been very busy with my studying and work. To make money ? Well i was thinking of ads but not to many of them. I have no experience with online business and i am still learning different ways to make money from it. I can get in touch with a lot of business people and get there advice or for them to write in every so often but yes i would need someone to partner up with because i understand it would be a very hard thing to do on my own

    My marketing campaign would be just to go round all the different colleges and uni's and promote it. Also i would promote it via twitter and facebook. The site is not up and running yet. I am currently teaching myself how to create websites and i do not want to rush into anything because i dont want anything short of perfect when having a website
