    University business

Im thinking of starting a laundry business for my university while i live on campus. I really have no idea where to begin except build a website. If anyone has any tips to point me in the right direction that would be great.

the people you'd be serving are all local i.e. campus, i don't think you really need a website, maybe flyers to pass out to students..

I can build a website for this for free. Ive got two girls that will do all the laundry for me. They say they will do it for 5 dollars a load. Im thinking of knocking on doors and seeing the average people would pay per load.

Yes, Jayk and Crackah is right. No need of a website. Just make a good ad. Good luck!

Why do you need girls? Get a bunch of coin-op machines and dryers. You don't even need a supervisor most of the time. People are going to set aside an hour or so of their week anyway to do the laundry, so just let them help themselves.

well they took a different route than you are taking..instead of having their own laundry machines they made a contract with a local laundromat to use their washers and dryers..if you have your own machine than im sure the start up costs will be much less you will only need detergent, bags, etc

im actually not sure but a dollar a load is pretty cheap you wouldnt be losing any money because your charging $5? or more im not sure? but yeaa im pretty sure their paying more than a dollar a load but if theres a local laundromat nearby you should ask them if they would sign a contract with you or if their machines are cheaper than a dollar
