Thumbs up Undercover Boss TV Show

Definitely my new favorite show! Although some of it seemed setup or a little hokey - I like the idea, and I love the concept. Let the leader get his hands dirty, see the outcome of his processes, and understand what his people need.

Waste Management will be a better company for that one show. Morale will improve, productivity will improve (even if only initially), but if WM keeps with what they just did - I think it'll be very beneficial.

I can certainly speak from experience... Sometimes you think you're making the most effective policy change, and that you've looked at every angle. In the end - you don't see the change first hand, but it's something that should've been executed a very different way.

Kudos to WM on the effort.

I enjoyed it. Although it certainly seemed a little too scripted at points.

I didn't watch it, and maybe it's different than the first impression that I got from the previews, which was -- People will watch this show, and think that they are more important than the CEO, and that the CEO can't do this job, why is he making so much money?

    People just don't get it..

I agree to a point. I think it was beneficial in the fact that a President went to the lower level to see exactly how his plans and policies effected his employees. I see him as a much better leader, with higher morale because of it.

I agree that it could be beneficial for the CEO to do this, to better understand his operations, and to boost moral in the company and with employees - But, with these TV shows, it's usually a different parade..
