My first job was at the local paper editing their website. I was 14 at the time. I only worked 5 or 6 hours a week.

When I was 15, I got hired on at a small local ISP to do tech support in the afternoons. I worked there for over 7 years and by the end I was the system and network admin with several people underneath me.

The best way to get a job is to simply ask. Find a company somewhere that you think is interesting and just go talk to the boss. I've found that most people are really willing to work with you if you put the effort into it.
