Two Business Ideas To choose from

So I have two business ideas:

    Oats.com or something like that
    buy one give one...
this idea is pretty simple. For every oatmeal bag that I sell I give one bag of oatmeal to starving people in africa. I will make a little money but solve world hunger!
(or maybe I could sell something else)

    naturalhealth.com or sumtin like that
my other idea is a health website...
basically I will have a picture of the human body(both male and femal) and then someone would click on the part of the body. For example the neck...then I break the neck up into parts like the throat, thyroid, etc...you click the thyroid or the throat and then it will list a bunch of diseases like thyroid cancer or sumtin like that...then from that I will put referals to websites to all natural vitamins to help prevent thyroid cancer and stuff like that...
my question for this is how can i get advertisers and referal websites that are willing to join...for example if you go to something like bags.com how do you get companies to pay you...

please keep in mind that I am 17 years old!!

Another young entrepreneur I see, I as well am 17 years old. What you need to do first is see if there is a need for something like that on the market. It would be frustrating to put all the work toward it just to see you are in over your head with too much competition, or stuck with something with no traffic.

The next step would be to either find an affiliate program that would work for you. You just need to look around for the type of products you are trying to promote and see if the site offers an affiliate program. Usually if they do it is pretty easy to find. Try to steer clear of Amazon's affiliate or "associate" program as they call it. They will offer you very little commission from each sale that you make. Try clickbank.com

Next you are going to need either a blog or website of some kind to put all your content and affiliate products on. I suggest wordpressdirect.com its a relatively cheap easy way to set up simple attractive sites that you can put content onto. This is the service i use to "test the market" because if the thing flops and you get no traffic you haven't invested a lot in to a web page either by hiring a contractor or designing it yourself.

I also see that the domains that you picked out will be relatively hard to come by. Usually the best ones are already picked over so your best bet is to make you niche more specific and stay away from being broad. So instead of oats.com try for something like oatsforhunger.com or something more specific.

I would fully recommend checking out the thirtydaychallenge.com that is where I learned a lot about internet based business's. The cool thing is it is totally free which is a plus for us young and aspiring entrepreneurs. Hope that helped you out a little.

oatmeal is cheaper than a airplane so stick to oats. I guess. You have alot of ideas, why don't you stick to ONE and give it ago. But the good thing out of it is you do have alot of ideas. Most people on here beg for ideas to start a business. Just slow your roll a little bit.
