Troubles promoting my new Cleaning business.

Hello YE forum! Well I'm here with a very puzzling question, which I know the veterans, and the very helpful people of YE with their expertise and many years of experience can help me out with.

Well the situation is this, I've started a residential cleaning business in the Inland Empire (southern California) and I've been doing everything I can think of to promote it on the limited budget I have. For example, leaving door hangers on homes, leaving business cards on cars, word of mouth and craigslist. It's been about a month and a half and i still haven't got one phone call

    What am I doing wrong?
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.

Do you have an online presence? Have you tried marketing it online? If you have existing customers why don't you try offering them a discount if they bring in new customers. Or you can try handing out cards to your customers offering them to clean one shirt free of charge after they used your services ten times or so.

Gary Barzel said what I want to say. To maybe expand on the "offering existing customers a discount idea", maybe try offer than a referral program, if they refer customers, award them

Let me know if you need help with the online presence part
