Traffic from search engines
1. from which search engine you get most of your search engine traffic:
a. google
b. msn
c. yahoo
d. other?
2. what do you think - which one is going to be leader in future?
p.s.: ...perhaps I should make this voting on my http://www.firstbannermuseum.com/ but may be in future...

I get numerous traffic from all 3. Yahoo! will be the leader in the future.
Google focuses too much of their ranking system on backlinks, which can produce flawwed results
MSN focuses mainly on a clean cut HTML site...first page rankings are usually very simple sites as opposed to those who rule page 1 on Google.
Yahoo! however has fair results (except for the Craigslist listings that seem to dominate page 1). That is their only flaw that I have seen directly

Who will be the leader? ... I think definately not msn. I think Yahoo may actually become the leader if they can learn to keep things simple like Google does currently.
Yahoo's email and new advertising system I hear is superior to Google's... so I think they'll be overtaking fairly soon (but again if they made their main page simple, they'd get more hits),
Google will probably end up focusing on other things like supplying the entire world with free wifi via satellite (and applying their advertising system to this).

it's clear that from all 3 of them - but from which you get more traffic than from others?
google now is very slow to index new sites. same www.firstbannermuseum.com - i put it's homepage in 2 days on google - but rest pages are not indexed. of caurse project is 1 week online only but still. on my previous experience - msn much faster. if it starts indexing than it does it for whole site. me myself suppose that google becomes slower and slower... Page Ranking update terms for instance. could be faster - maybe not same as Alexa that has 3-4-5-6 days update period but i am sure could be 1 month update period. what do you think?

People think Google is the #1 search engine, check Alexa...Yahoo! has greater market share.

I strongly agree with nado.
Yahoo's homepage to me seems terribly cluttered. Google's page is more appealing becuase it's about as simple as it can get.

Google is the #1 search engine right now. Yahoo gets more traffic because it is a portal. I really like what MSN is doing for the future, so I might be switching to them if they can get their act together. Until someone tops Google's ranking system, I won't be changing serach engines.

it's clear that google is N1 for now
people on Search Engine Optimization forums predict google to fall down and msn taking it's place.
btw msn also is not search only website - it's also a kind of portal.

Lately, I have found MSN to return the most relevent search results. I think the quality of Google's results has been dropping for some time now. I predict both Yahoo and MSN can overtake Google someday.
