Tracking revenue from my partners (I own a gym affiliate)

I have a gym. I teach martial arts. I am starting an affiliate program where I live. I am running a program for martial arts where I advertise and offer schools the use of my name. I market the gyms and I collect $10 per student that signs up for the life of their stay at the school.

How can I ensure that I will be paid though and that the gyms are not just collecting money and not reporting it all? Gyms could have members who sign up and just pay cash under the table or get billed some other way and I would have no way of knowing.

    Any help or advice?

Why don'y you set up an online presence where you get paid for every click that you provide to the individual gyms. For example, list 10 gyms and every time people visit your website and click through a gym or two, count the number of clicks and conversation. Research a bit on affiliate marketing and CPA-based online advertising. Its a similar concept and will ensure you get paid for you bringing business. The other thing I will suggest is getting together a contract as well with a lawyer that you can present to your clients to make sure you have all the terms clear from the get-go. Good luck!

I would suggest get a tight agreement written up, maybe lookn at the MLM or network marketing industry as to solutions to your problem, they run affiliate programs offline, well at least they used to be offline. If your business is completely offline I don't think you can stop your affiliates from doing deals outside of yourself if they really want to. Cash deals happen all the time without paying tax.

Either way it sounds like a good idea, good luck
