Hello Everyone.

My name is Dean, Im from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

I would like to introduce myself as well as some others are doing, as I would enjoy speaking to those in similar or complimentary industries.

I am 23 years old. I own and operate a masonry contracting company. I currently have 4 employees and 1 pt secretary. We specialize in custom stonework on all commercial and residential applications, both new construction and renovation. (website down) I started this business because of the industry that was at my disposal. I enjoy it, but it is not my lifeline. I am delegating more and more responsibilities so that I can put more energy into other ventures.

Under my unbrella corporation I also operate a marketing/advertising/copywriting company. ( I wrote a whole paragraph on what we do, but I erased it. We are leading edge, not exactly your average firm, with international capabilities, so why spill the beans? lol)

I have interests in real estate, the financial sector, precious metals and diamonds. As a true entrepreneur, I never turn a blind eye to opportunity. I reserve capital for new opportunities that show true opportunity. Looking to network with others that are truely stepping away from the pack.

I've always had a respect for masons - it's one of the few "old crafts" still in existence. It's extra cool that you own and operate your own outfit. I'm in real estate and I always love interacting with masons on job sites - you guys do honest hard work and create a beautiful end result. You guys also seem to be the least high strung of all the contractors (I guess if I exhausted my muscles carrying and cutting stones all day, I'd wouldn't have the energy to bitch about stuff like plumbers, carpenters, etc!)

Anyway, just wanted to give you a shout out. You're in a great position to invest in real estate because you're constantly being exposed to it and talking to people.
