This was just a experiment on a cost basis to see what could be achieved.

Over the last 10 days i have been working on a small project and the idea was to see what could be achieved on a small amount of money,please note that this was nothing to do with lack of funds my end it was mainly just a excercise and a bit of fun and to teach me how to setup a Forum.

So i decided to use the Topic of Gardening as this is a hobby/interest that people just love talking about so while on E**y a couple of weeks back someone was selling a brand new website with no revenue or traffic and hence the purchase price was going to be low.

So below is a break down on all my expenses on the project i have transfered the figures roughly over to dollars.

Gardening website including domain and all contents and including all my codes $4 yes that is not a misprint.
Yearly hosting was $40 yes this is high but that was a clause that i had to keep hosting it with the same person for a year.
The Forum script used for this project is the latest pbpBB version 3 and this is free.
Adding the Forum to the website $40.

So my whole expense for one year is $84 or £42 and no other spending will be carried out on promoting of this site as it will all be done organically.

So this has been a little project that may help some new people,we may also get other long term established people saying its a crap project.

What exactly did you pay for...the installation?

I just found out that the articles on your site are not unique articles don't know if you were aware of that already?
