    Thinking thinking thinking

Okay! So here it goes. Over the last month I have been busy with Uni exams and also jobs etc. I now have nothing, so I have been thinking about a start up idea.

My idea is to create a website which would aim to help Rental managers find better tenants for cheap as well as make their job easier. It would be a joining of rental listings and rental managements in the backend.

The site will basically be a listing site. The users will register and fill out a rental resume which will contain all their information. They would then apply for a rental property which will be listed by the rental managers, rather like for a job online. The rental manager in the backend would then be able to view their information along with other applicants, research their it and then easily sort out who they do and dont want.

The service would streamline the rental application all via our site. The back end will then keep records for the manager and allow them to manager the listings and their current properties.

No company is currently offering this and after talking with a few rental managers, they all seem optimistic about the idea, saying that they would def. like to try it and see it before they use it.

The rental market is growing in Australia, and about 30% of all properties are rented. There is also a lack of sites offering a good service of proper

Also, dont post all this good luck BS, i want opinions and idea on what and what not to do or is good. etc etc....

    for fucks sake crackah
you know perfectly well how to do a pitch
and a pitch doesn't start with "my idea is rah rah"
    just follow best practice
    what problem are you solving?

Its not really a pitch as much I want to discuss the idea with people before I feel confident to go ahead.

The problem im solving is helping rental managers get better tenants.

IDK right now akula. This is a idea right now. Im looking at businesses which have been implemented in the US or overseas successfully and then seeing if they can be done here.

It's an interesting problem. Personally, as a landlord, I don't think the problem really exists. The time taken to screen tenants isn't justified by the upside of finding a well rated tenant - and the downside of running into a bad tenant is limited by the small claims court...but usakos can probably tell you more from his experience with rentersq.com

My advice; do an aussie version of zillow.com
It's a website where anyone can get an instant valuation for their home. It's awesome; they make more money than god
