I think it has to also deal with details, macromanagenent, perhaps their inability for detail of dislike for details aloows them to be conceptually driven. As well as being a dreamer or inventor and that they don't get caught in the details allows them to see past the stumbling blocks and possible problems. You could also say most business fail becuase they do not find detailed people and the unforseen stumbling blocks trip them causing failure.

The problem that I see, which I have commented on in previous posts, is that for every "C student" who is successful in business, there are 5 "A students" who are successful. Yes, there are people who never graduated or didn't do well in school who are successful, but there are far more people who were successful in school who are in the same position.

By the way, our president was a C student. IMO, he isn't a great leader.

I think you really nailed it... even though the article doesn't come right out and say it. Successful business is a team sport, one person can't do it all they just need to surround them selves with competent people who can while involving those who perform the work.

Interesting perspective Jasaunders. Your point reminds me of Steve Jobs. Yes very innovative but her drove everyone nuts and crazy.
It also sound like the book the E-myth. The entreprenreur always messes everything up for the managment and technitian to clean up the mess.
