The next wave of entrepreneurial opportunity

Google has announced that they are going to rollout an operating platform that will run on every cell phone in the future. The "open" platform is similar to that of facebooks where users can create applications and anyone can add the application to their phone. I think this will create a lot of opportunity for entrepreneurs in terms of monetizing the phone such as many did with the internet earlier this century...

The possibilities of this are endless....

I'm looking for a like minded entrepreneur who would be interested in starting a team that would focus on monetizing the phone and all it's capabilities. I'm a gadget/tech junkie and although I don't have any experience with java or anything IT, I would like to be the active investing partner. I could fund all/most of the venture and you could operate and manage the technical aspect. Looking for highly motivated/experienced and creative individuals who really want to strike it rich in this modern day gold rush.

Just wondering if you could give a bit more info about that you are looking for? Do you have an idea you need money to fund or are you looking for tech people to brainstorm with?

I am not sure if the Google phone os is going to be "open" to the users. The phone os is open in the sense that it is based on open source stuff.

I am not sure if it will run on every cell phone. Google is making so companies can use it in the phones they put out. In return google is going to start venturing into the phone advertising. It is not something you will put on your phone, it is something that will ship on the phone.

I may be wrong about that, but I am pretty sure that is right.

Yes that's right, the open source software "android" will come on the phone, but most all phone companies will most likely carry it, because Google is offering it to them for free, thus the handset manufacturers will have wider margins by saving costs they would otherwise incur by implementing a windows or other operating system.

In regards to your comment roger;

I'm basically looking for a tech expert. One who has experience with Java who could write the initial application, or put together a team to help.

I have an idea for an application, but it's no small feat... so I'm looking to collaborate with someone. I don't need money to fund, the reason for this post was to offer equity, looking for an individual who fits the criteria that can offer "sweat equity".

You have a great idea... run with it... I'm not the tech type so I'm no use to you. I'd love to see more posts about your plans in the future.
