So whats everyone thinking about this stuff now? We're a little closer to the election. Oil has come down considerably. People aren't paying $4 for gas except where the state is taxing it to hell. Minuscule troop withdrawals are happening in Iraq, more troops heading to Afghanistan. Musharef is gone, Pakistan is more hostile towards us, but actually more active in combating militants. Speculation for nat'l gas has been in the range or $3-16 in the near future. Hurricane season is just about to pass its peak. Gulf oil rigs have survived in tact so far. Russia is slowly isolating itself. The stock market has gone from approx. 11000 to 11800 and now back down. Biden v. Palin. ect.

What's going on? What is everyone thinking? (sorry to resurrect this thread for those of you who didn't like how out of control it got last time, but I enjoyed it)

Ways to Eat Away the Depressing Recession

I'm primarily in the food business and I should say that eating is the last thing that people will stop doing even in a recession. In fact, some if not most people eat more during depressing times! One thing that helped me offset rising business costs is by hiring virtual assistants offshore as I grew, while keeping my present local staff. It helped me a lot that I decided to help others by providing this service as well.

I think that some of the people who had their head up their ass earlier in this thread about the state the economy was really in, should probably re-think things.
    .
Google isn't as dumb as you think.
