    The economy and your small business

    Many business today are struggling they like to blame the economy the economy really has nothing to do with it. What is required is that you become a sophisticated business owner. During the depression when most business cut back on their advertising a number of them increased their advertising and became the business they are today businesses like Kellogg and Proctor and Gamble.

    The economy has a lot to do with whether or not businesses succeed or fail. Take for example someone that owns a lot of real estate, now that the economy has gone bust all his properties are going into foreclosure, being a sophisticated owner is not going to help you that much in this situation. However you do have a point that during a recession one can capitalize on new opportunities that arise due to a change in the economic climate.
