The Business Partner I met on the Street

I was at the bank in my city just about two weeks ago and this woman approached my mothers car. They got to talking and when I came out of the bank, I had exciting news for my mother: I was going to tell her that my banker was going to get me a government grant to start an arcade.

The woman at my moms car immediately says; "You want to start an arcade too?" and we exchanged phone numbers and everything and we got to getting a lease at the mall in our neighborhood.

Do you think this is a little bit strange? There are many coinsidences happening now and I think maybe this is just god answering many of my prayers. I have always prayed for someone to come to me with a business idea I could afford and now this is the one, so it appears.

    What is your suggestion?
    a) Go with the business plan
    b) Back out of the business plan
    c) Press charges for minipulating a minor

Just because you met her doesn't mean you need too include her. If she has nothing to offer apart from the fact you both share the same goals, forget about her. However if she has business experience and money she may be good to have onboard.

I agree with F360, make sure she has something to offer, not because she just had the same idea or did she...... you said she was talking to your mom first then...hmmmm. Make sure she's not a stalker, do a little background check of your own. lol
Seriously. Make sure you know someone before you intertwine your livelyhood with theirs. Two weeks is definately not enough time. Just don't rush so quickly to have a partner, it was only a coincidence........maybe.

something sounds strange. A stranger approached your mom. And now you're doing business with her?

    Possible con woman.

Had she mentioned this arcade to your mom before or did she only say it after you said it yourself?

Make her put up money, and put up money your self.

If you can't put up cash, question the reasons why she'd want to waste her time getting involved with you.

Generally speaking - the kind of people you should be wanting on-board, ought to be way out of your league.

She's most likely a scammer, look, she's outside the bank talking to strangers randomly and even get in their cars. And, what are the chances of someone wanting to start an arcade,a stranger, outside the bank;with all this combined, the chances of that happening is really low. Try to listen carefully what she says but try not to believe most of what she says.
Just like F360 said, make sure she have a lot to offer you since she's the person trying to get involved with you, not the other way round.
or, as you said, she might be your prayers answered..who knows
