The AdSense Rollercoaster

So far in June I’ve earned $34.67 with Adsense. This is my first month doing this and this is only a partial month. My problem is that there is not consistency in my earnings.

I’ve attached a screen shot of my earnings this month and you will see that some days are $0.00 and the next can be $7.00 then back to zero again. This is driving me crazy. How can I get more consistent earnings?

Get more consistent viewers, who consistently click ads? hm.....I really have no idea what the solution is.......we don't host ads, nor do we use adwords......depending on the price margin, a pair of boots makes us roughly $30-$60........so, Adsense is pointless for us at least

I am kindof in the same boat as you. I think if we both focus on increasing our traffic, then although it wont stop us having bad days with adsense but it will keep increasing our good days.

Got the same problem. I think it has something do to with what you post. I blogged about random topic which got me nowhere. But if you focus on current topics or reviews of products, that usually helped and brought in traffic.

I think you might want to focus on how consistent revenue is each month, instead of focusing on each day. In my opinion, looking at each day is too specific of a time frame. There is no way you will have each day be the same and consistent. I'm guessing having more traffic would decrease the volatility.

Roger, I have the SAME problem lol. We just have to deal with it. My first week I made 9.00, THEN on the wednesday the following week i made 15.00 ON THAT DAY.. then the next say i made 3.61. You just have to dealw ith it

Thanks for all the feedback... I was hoping that there was some sort of algorithm that showed that Google changes PR on a set schedule to see if my site was moving around in the rankings or if my sites links were being updated... heck I don't know... I guess I'll just start looking on a weekly basis instead of a daily basis.

I just finished my second experimental month with all this and I want to monetize a few more of my sites now.... any other Adsense Advice you would like to throw out there would be appreciated.

Everyone has on and off days. Saturdays are always bad for me.

Hmmm... I didn't take the time to see if there were certain days of the week that were consistently being bad... damn... thank you... this may help a little.
