Great article Dale, it is astounding how the majority of the world feels that you need to be over 18, have an MBA, know people who know people, and the list goes on, to truly succeed. These examples just go to show that if you "hustle" and tie in common sense, along with natural desire to want something and stop at nothing to get it, you can achieve your goals.
Yes, some may say that these are just a few needles in a hay stack, however, good for them! They were able to work hard and envision something that they wanted because they LOVED the road entailed to get there.
Something everyone can learn from.
Thanks!
Guy

Great article. I saw the episode of "The Big Idea" that the writer is referring to. Great show. Cameron Johnson, one of the kids on the show, has a great book out called "You Call The Shots". I highly recommend it.

Very inspiring but just a few more thoughts on the subject:

I think this is become less and less true. In fact, I think a bigger problem is for people over thirty because there are a lot of articles, lists, and general opinions that only people under 30 have what it takes to be truly entrepreneurial and make it big time. Except for the guy who made Amazon.com, but there's an exception to all the rules

Good article. These are 5 of the 13 principles for successes publicly known for decades.

Dale, Thanks for sharing such a great article.
Yeah, I have to agree that children and teenagers have simple thinking that most adults has lost. They just think what they want, set a plan and take serious action. However, for adults, they will think that whether it will work, do they have time to do it and comes out with a lot of reasons not to take action. I think all of this because of fear of losing.

Taking action is the critical one on the list. Without that, the rest are just window dressing.

There is far too much generalization period. Successful people come in all ages, races and gender. Either you have what it takes to be successful or you don't.

Good article. Maybe articles like that will continue to wake up the world to the fact that anyone can do anything if they are determined to and that people should not be judged because of their age!
