    tax write-offs ???

Thought this would help out some other people as well as me. I know there has to be many people out there that are paying to much on their taxes.

I wanted to know what everyone usually writes off on their taxes for their business. make a list?

Also just in general what kinds of items/services can be written off?
(office space?, webdesigning?, business trips?, employment?)

You are asking a much more complex question than I believe you realize. Quite frankly, I don't feel this forum is a safe place to post these things for fear that the blind will begin leading the blind. I have seen (and corrected) too many posts with incorrect information to think otherwise.

For example, writing off space used as an office in your home is much more complex than determining the ratio of office space to personal space. Consideration must be given for the potential effect that deduction may have on your tax burden when selling your house in the future.

There are plenty of straightforward deductions that can be taken by businesses. A long list of these will surely surface with a quick google search. If you want a quick crash course in deductions, check out CCH's Business Owner's Toolkit. My father has been one of their top sales reps for more than 30 years, so I know that they are credible. They are not just a website by someone who thinks they know tax law.

Do you have an accountant? If nto get one, and then ask them that exact question.

No problem. You'll find that CCH's website has a lot of free information that is perfect for getting a solid understanding (high level) of tax related concepts so that when you approach your accountant (or, as I prefer, a tax strategist) you'll be able to save a lot of hassle by communicating with more familiar vocabulary.
