Hehe....good call. I love it when people try to promote their own stuff in such a spammer way. Dude, why don't you just say, "I just created this tax site, what do ya'll think?" Now everyone thinks that you're shady. Why would anyone want to trust that site with something as ethically important as tax preparation?

No its not a coincidence. Whats on my portfolio is the blog that I did for that website not the site itself. I didn't design the site. I just recently found out about the site and made the blog for them like less than a month ago, so I'm not telling any false tales when I said.

I'm just trying to plug a site that I think is a good site and share it with others. Since tax season is coming and people are always looking for online services. Its not like i'm getting any of the money that the tax2020 site makes. I have already been paid for the blog that I did for them.

Though I do agree it does appear shady when you see the blog of the site listed on my portolio. The reason I didn't say what you suggested, "I just created this tax site, what do ya'll think?" is because first I didn't create the site (what is on my portolio is a blog I did for them) and second I 'm not posting to get feedback on the design.

I'm posting to advertise and spread the word about the site. Though I might be baised by working with them on that blog project, I think still honestly thing they are pretty cool company that others might want to check out.

Now if I was being paid by the company to advertise that would clearly be spam, or if I in some way owned the company and was trying to get clients that too would be categorized as spam in my eyes.

Thanks for the clarification. Most spammers won't bother coming back to check their posts. So, that alone says that you may not be a spammer afterall. Good luck in your current ventures.
