I understand almost everything has a price, but has it come to the point where even general information has a price. I grew up in an area where if you eating and the next man near you hungry. You'll tell him and show him where to eat. Especially if you were once hungry yourself and somebody showed you.

In other words Im a hungry, hard working, and ambitious man. Who's striding to find a niche in making a honest buck or two. So I joined this wholesale forum. Note, Im new to the whole forum approach. I know there's valuable information you can attain from people who are sincere and more than happy to offer information though. So I started to exchange msgs with this gentleman who seems to be a very intelligent and eager to share info on how he started and good ways to buy items wholesale. Then he tell me about drop shipping and how it's not beneficial.

That's when I start to figure he had his own motive in sharing info to me. Because I mention to him how I wish I could find a good wholesaler so I could do away with the overseas market (chinavasion.com). Then he go on and say well I know a way you can get rid of the middle man and go straight to the source and wholesaler. So I said cool, how would I be able to do that. He gives me his site and says if I pay for his service he'll give me a list of wholesalers so I could get rid of the middleman. HAHAHAHAH, it was so funny because I knew he eventually was going to try and sell me something. I can't knock his hustle, but is it that hard in the business world? Where everything has a price, Im just trying to explore and research until I find my money maker. Dont get me wrong I met a few people on here who been real helpful.

Yes, these forums are for information, however, everyone is in the same position as you. They want to make money, so you must expect to run across some people who will try to squeeze a few dollars out of you.

I don't know much about wholesalers or dropshippers, I'm more into the service industry rather than retail.

Just keep on networking with people and you'll find the information you would like.

I agree with chrispalko, everyone is just as hungry as you are.

If he sent you to his site where the list of wholesalers are, it means that's probably what he does: find people who are looking for wholesalers. I don't think it would have been fair for him to give you that list for free.

I'm new here too and I agree with Chris Palko.

I read that THIS website has a goal: "to help you start, manage or grow your successful business venture." Focus being entrepreneurs.

So depending on where someone is in this cycle, depending on their personality, depending on their selling style, these kind of fast pitches will happen.

I'm sure you know, "pick yourself up, brush yourself off, start all over again."

OK. Now I'm HOPING I'll find the introductions area.

Anybody with real information that works is going to charge you for it - why would they tell you for free? Anything that ACTUALLY WORKS takes usually a lot of time to explain/teach so you think their time isn't valuable.

I can teach you how to make money online without any bullshit - but it aint free info.

I actually wrote an e-book to help out people who need a method for finding legitimate wholesale sources as well as a directory. I think the information in my e-book is more beneficial. My advice is to stay away from dropshippers because they're actually "discount retailers". Buying from China is also very risky. Especially if you don't know who you're dealing with and don't have a lot of money to invest into it.

publishing model is so much easier and less headaches and also more consistent then dealing with physical products and drop shippers to begin with... my 2 cents.
