taking the business to the next level...

i run a online printing website.. i had a printshop before.... starting this year i decided to convert the business to strictly online... i need to take this printing business to a unique idea... i am focusing on customer service..on making sure the site is easy processing for users. i am marketing using facebook,twitter,craigslist, merchant circle and others.. i am also trying to implement skype video chatting to interact with the customer and build a reltionship...i am also doing seo on the website.... any ideas on doing things different or how to gain more customer....

The marketing ways that you have mentioned are great. However, you may also want to get active in photography forums, because after all, photographers are still a large part of your prospective client base. If I may ask, why exactly did you convert the business to strictly online when having it online and offline are better?

That is a good point about the photographers....
having a local shop was more work and time consuming..... which i didnt mind until profit margins started declining. too many shops open or people that work form home started to mess the local market up and started dropping prices where the profit margin was short. so i ask my self a question.... business wise... "should i stay and compete with others and make it my day to day job or should i say i made money in the peak time .....and now its time to diversify and look into something else....
so i cut all my overhead.... and put it towards local advertising...
so i decided to go strictly online.. every business needs printing.... and customers were still calling me.. so i've been directing them to the site.
It gives me flexibility and time to do other things and ventures.......
