Taking over T Shirt Silk Screening Business, Need some Ideas

Hi,

I'm taking over a once very successful T Shirt Printing Business. As a result of the economy and many companies having to cut back on their budgets the business has declined some. A divorce with the owners have also caused very bad customer service.

I will be taking over operations and getting the business back up to where it once was. Their are about 4 projects that I would like to implement. I was wondering if I could get some ideas from all you guys or thoughts on the projects.

1st Project - Bring the T Shirt Printing business online.

2nd Project - Create a new simple T shirt website for people with small orders who can just send their logos and we'll print them.

3rd Project - Create a brand for a new line of t shirts. I know this is very difficult but I thought it would be a good avenue.

4th Project - Figure out how to get some local accounts?

Make shirts based off current events. People like to buy on emotion and current events is a good way of doing it. Maybe a Facebook page that interacts with people. For example, you can have a "you think it, we create it." People can vote on a movie quote or something like that to make a shirt. Whichever gets the most votes wins. Then you sell the shirt and maybe even have a contest to give a free one out. Just something that involves interaction. I know the FB idea would take time to build, but you're in it for the long run right?

I think you have to find a craze for children every year there is one thing that captures a whole nation of youth, if you had an idea to inspire and encourage youth in a t-shirt you can really get something going
