This is no MLM or get rich quick scheme. I have outlined a step by step
guide to build a new business on college campuses. The student that
worked for me last summer made $7,500 and generated $50,000 in sales.

This is a sales position, that allows a young, entrepreneurial student
the opportunity to learn some valuable business skills during the
summer and make some great money.

Additionally, my company will work with each student to develop
additional sales and marketing opportunities on their campus throughout the college year.

Thanks!

i am pleased to inform you that...this post is classified SPAM and this site is not after SPAM

Also when you said:-

Please do not just label this "SPAM" - it makes it easier to identify as SPAM

and when you said

This is no MLM or get rich quick scheme. - adds doubt into alot of peoples minds which makes them think this is this type of business.

as well as

I have outlined a step by step guide to build a new business on college campuses. - why not do it yourself and make yourself millions???

And Finally

The student that worked for me last summer made $7,500 and generated $50,000 in sales. - do you have any proof and why isnt the student doing it again this year??

Wow you guys are a tough crowd. Its unfortunate that I want to recruit young entrepreneurs for a new company I am starting and I get all of this criticism.

I would like to reply to your comments.

I guess I am unclear about what SPAM is…This is a young entrepreneur forum, I am looking to work with other young entrepreneurs around the country…this forum is general business, which my company is – a magazine. I guess the way I feel about this post is that if it interests you - great and if it doesn’t then go on to the next one. But this is a great opportunity for college students.

This is absolutely not a multi-level marketing or get rich by working 1 hour a week. This job requires someone to work hard. The main function will be advertising sales for a college magazine. There is no investment from any students- at all or ever.

As I mentioned, I have developed a step-by-step guide on how to be successful at this position. This guide will be used to clearly communicate the responsibilities and steps for the position.

Each magazine produced will be specific for that university. While there will be some content and advertising in all versions, a good amount will be specific to that school. Given that I am only one person, I think we both would agree that it would be impossible for me to travel to and from all these school as well as manage the production of these magazines throughout one summer. 2 years ago I created the magazine at one college, then last year I went to another college and hired a student to work at the first college.

As an entrepreneur, I determined that my way to “make millions” [or thousands] would be to transfer my knowledge in this area to student reps at various colleges. I plan to support them with training, teleconference training, mentor phone calls and possibly onsite training.

You asked “The student that worked for me last summer made $7,500 and generated $50,000 in sales. - do you have any proof and why isnt the student doing it again this year??”

This student will still be working with me this year. He was a sophomore now, which means he can potentially work with me for 3 more summers. He will be available to speak with any candidate who wishes to learn more (obviously based on his availability).

Additionally, this student may take on more of a management roll and be responsible for a couple of other schools this summer. My long-term goal is when a successful rep graduates we could potentially put them into a regional sales manager position.

So why do we want entrepreneurs? After the summer and after the magazine is published, we would like to work together on other ways to market and sell on their campus. We have a significant amount of capital available – so anything is possible.
Well that’s my defense to your post. I hope this clarifies my objectives and motivations relating to my original post.

Thanks.
