Submise - My DJ Business Future

With my first business, Submise Records, I feel as if I have come to a stand-still. I am not putting the effort in like I was before. It feels as if I am just putting everything off. I think this could be because I have tried to advertise in many different ways, which include:

    Through Forum Signatures
    Through Msn
Through Ads placed on various forums
    Through my personal blog, Lukaslarsson.com
    iTunes GiftCard Giveaways

I don't have any money, being 14 and by law can not have a PayPal account, nor can I apply to Adsense.

My original goal was to find, promote, and sell related products of DJs that I would "Scout-out" on Youtube, Myspace, and other DJ sites. I would in some way be "Signing" them.

The problem with this, surprisingly, is actually finding the artists. I found one, I was talking with him, then he suddenly stopped replying, and I have attempted to contact him a while now.

I'm no longer sure were exactly to look to find artists. Nor were to adcertise the site.

I have payed about $40 CAD to have a custom made PHP script for my website, which I must say is amazing, and I can always use it on other forms of my site, or other sites I make. I still actively talk to my coder, and he is willing to edit, change, and help me with any aspect of the code. This script includes:

    Globalt Features:
    Contact / Question Form

    Regular Member Features:
    Log-in / Log-out
    Register
Register / Un-Register for the Newsletter
    Can Apply for DJ

"DJ" Features: [My artists have this rank]
    All Member Features
    Can edit DJ profile page

    Administrator Features:
    All Member and DJ Features
Can see who has joined newsletter
Can see all members registration info
    User List
    E-mail List
    Can Add / Remove DJs
Can See Contact / Questions Submitted by guests

    Owner Features:
    All Member, DJ, Admin Features
    Can Add / Remove DJs

If you have any more suggestions or feature to add for features, I too am looking for those.

I now feel as if I have two options with the direction of my company:

    I) Strongly look for DJs overseas
II) Look for DJs in my area, and promote them to gatherings, and stores in my area.

Overall, I think more money can be made over seas, but, it is harder to make it big, and reach the money. If I go local, the DJs are not nearly as good, but it would be easier to communicate with them.

So now I ask you, the members of Teen Business Forum, what do you think I should do with Submise? What direction do you think I should take?

    Thanks;
    Lukas

I think in discussing with prospect DJ's you should not reveal your age if at all you do so! Doing business as a teen is hard , because no one takes you seriously and hence , I think you will be best coming up with a fake personality who is of age and mature, and till you proof what you can do for them, you can then reveal your age to them.

2.) Are you focused on Dj's or artists in general? Because there a so many social networks who artists exclusively who are searching to make it big, and with the right negotiation i'm sure they'll like to try you out.

On the actual site, I have not revealed my age, as I thought it would not benefit me. I'm focused on DJs, mainly the ones who produce Trance, Electro, Techno, and Progressive.
