Stumbling Upon a 1 Billion Dollar Idea

I am Frank P. Discolo and am a 16 year old inventor who came up on my idea by total accident. This past spring I was cut from my high school lacrosse team and ended up turning to golf, already being a caddy in the summers and avid golfer I knew the game pretty well and used my knowledge and experience to think up of a way to keep elderly golfers in the game. My "Forearm Crutch Putter" is not patent pending and caters to 7 million golfers in the united states. By connecting the forearm crutch to the putter and reducing the angle of the putter head, it makes for an invention that would not only increase the volume of players, but bring up there game! By selling each unit from a range of $150-$200 a unit, it is possible that "The Forearm Crutch Putter" can be a $1 Billion invention. Below is the link to my listing.

So a cane the is also a putter? I think people wont be willing to give up their putters. They may think it would affect their game. You could make in insert the goes onto of it that could be attached to any putter.

Looking into the market, up and coming putters and new technologies to putting are a huge market. Although some may think that an attatchment would be the way to go...it proves to be unstable and not meet par in terms of providing support. This club also features a reduced angle from the putter head to the shaft which makes it easier to operate for the elderly and handicapped supporting there backs for minimal "bending over". (This product can be found on Patent Auction . com)

I think your other option would be to try to sell the idea to name brand companies. Allowing people the option to get their same putter with the crutch option

Solid idea. It would be beneficial for you to get some of the well known golfers in your area to endorse it. You may also want to consider building a prototype to demo at amateur golf tournaments.

A word of caution if you decide to seek outside investment, take a closer look at your financial projections. All to often investors see huge numbers thrown around like that. They'll ignore it to a certain point, but financials that have been well researched will only help your case.

I love it. You aren't inventing a new way to golf, just something that makes the game easier. Innovation is the best approach. If you keep believing in your idea and working at getting it out there, then I think you'll be on the top!!!

    Best of Chance !!!

I think your link was taken away, mine was removed the other day also, does that have to do with the number of posts?
