    Student Loan Deferment

    Hello,

    I have left my job so I can work on my business full time but it will be months before I get any type of cash flow. Since I am unemployed and not looking for a job BUT starting a business, do I still get deferment?

    If you have been in this situation, please answer.

    If you have government loans you can request a deferment after you leave school. I think it was up to 2 years, but it has been like 10 years since I did that.

    You will need to talk to whatever company has your loan to get it done.
