Struggling To Find Freelancers :s

I run an online writing agency producing content for people's sites, and am having a little trouble taking on new work at the moment as is everyone, but the main problem is coming from the staffing side.

The freelance sites I used to use would yield loads of offers from writers, but I just can't seem to get the writers now, they all seem to have disappeared.

If anyone knows what may have happened or what I can do to get writers on board, I'd love to hear from you, as I'm having to turn work down at the moment, which isn't a situation I want to be in especially at the moment.
