Stocks and shares??

Hi, I would like to invest some money in stocks and shares... I live in the UK.

Only thing is I dont know where to start.. I would like to do it online. If anyone could give me any advice on getting started that would be great.

If I were you I would invest my time in learning the basics first. Buy books on it or visit sites such as investopedia.com. After that, you can start to play some of the virtual stock market games (virtualstockexchange.com, etc).

Well a good place to start is deciding on what type of investment into the stock market you want, your local bank will help you and should offer investment services(most large banks in the uk will) and you can either do it through them or a broker. Each will charge you a small fee but its upto you which one you decide.
